For all new properties added to the portal, the first Move you add must be a Move Out. For many properties you'll be able to do this straight away if they are vacant or soon to be vacant when you add them to the portal. For others, that are tenanted when you add the property, you must wait until the tenancy ends to add your first Move relating to that property.

It is important for you to add the Move Out before the new tenant moves in, so that our energy partner can start the energy switch when the property is vacant (when you have the authority to instruct the switch on behalf of your Landlord).
