Why do you ask for property status?
Why do you ask for property status?

Knowing the property status allows us to advise you what to do next.

When you add a new property we will ask you to advise it's current status (i.e. it's occupancy status on the day you add it) from the following three options:

  1. This property is vacant and no tenants are moving into the property for at least two days.

  2. This property is vacant but tenants are moving in to the property within the next two days.

  3. This property is currently tenanted.

This allows us to tailor the messaging and available options within the portal to advise you what you need to do next:

If you select No.1 we will ask you to add a Move Out straight away.

If you select No.2 we will advise you to get in touch with our Support Team straight away so we can assist you in adding the Move Out to the portal. As there is a small gap between tenancies we will manage these cases closely with you and prioritise them as urgent.

If you select No.3 we will advise you to add a Move Out as and when you know what date the property is due to become vacant.
